Approves of CEO

Pros

Very good processes in place to manage day to day deliveries. Not really above industry in terms of basic salary but too many bonuses and allowances.

Cons

Some Senior management over engineered the processes that make it more tedious to comply. Repetitive processes. Most of the onshore counterparts require too many admin tasks/processes but they too cannot comply with it.

Advice to Management

Try to simplify the process as long as it complies with CMMI level 5. The more simple the more we will become productive.

    Pros

The recently created ACG is large pool of analysts who are able to work across industries and clients in order to develop individual preferences.
This system is very slack and gives analysts a good opportunity to go unaccounted for. Although this is not in your benefit in the long term it can suit if you only plan to use Accenture as a stepping stone.

    Cons

Accenture senior leadership have a reputation within the company as being very reactionary. The culture is perceived to be ‘up and out’ according to the performance of the individual however it has proven to be the case that Accenture only (over) react to market conditions by promoting large numbers (regardless of performance) in the good times and failing to recognise the top performers during the bad times. Your career progression is a lottery dependant on the time you joined and the economic conditions during your eye milestones periods.

    Advice to Management

Please stop panicking. This has led to the vast amount of monetary and resource waste through over generous VR, grad deferral packages and failure to promote and reward high achievers. The impact on moral following these catastrophic decisions has been devastating.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Work is challenging and the clients we deal with are large corporations or government. Colleagues are largely smart and dedicated people.

    Cons

Limited work/life balance, dependent on project. Skills developed may not be portable and marketable for your next job elsewhere. It's really a systems integrator, rather than a consulting firm.

    Advice to Management

Provide tangible and practical compensation to the folks on the ground, for they are the ones actually delivering the high performance that you have been selling, rather than patronizing them with words of praise. Above and beyond awards of $80 Robinsons voucher is a joke for these people who have put in long hours over extended periods of time.
