No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

- Set timelines for promotion with yearly reviews and rankings of employees in similar peer groups.
- Wide range of clients and offerings allow employees to move into an industry or technology they are interested in.
- Travel is not required if an employee really doesn't want to travel. Local clients and roles are almost always available.

Cons

- Compensation is on the low side compared to other companies in the industry, particularly if you are not an experienced hire and joined right out of undergraduate school.
- Work is mostly staff augmentation. Clients need to surge resources to complete specific enhancements or projects with little actual consulting involved.

    Pros

good to start as an analyst, and good training to grow your career as a consultant

    Cons

can get mired in bureaucracy, and difficult to "drive" your career into the right industry. sometimes you get "pigeonholed" into an industry that you have no desire to work in for a long time.

    Advice to Management

create better opportunities for employees to define their own careers.
