I worked at Accenture full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Accenture is the opportunity to decorate your resume with gold inc. you will be very young, and you will have a decent salary, that will help you with everything in other to provide stability to your professional career.

Cons

I think is a great company to start if you want to get into consulting but the HR department is very incompetent, when the application process starts they won't even look at your FaceBook page, nor Linkedin Nothing, the department is very relax and they really just care for GPAs and experience which you can perfectly lie about (the companies I with didn't even had a website to begin with), after working here for a year I felt like having a good GPA was the only thing they cared about. HR will give an offer to everyone with a 3.4 (or above) GPA and a heart beat.

Advice to Management

keep doing what you are doing, but keep an eye on the HR department. SPECIALLY in the Washington offices.

I have been working at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Diversity of projects and work provide expansive experience
    - Well established career paths
    - When surrounded by supportive management, they work hard to align you to your career goals and really want to see you grow
    - Hard work and thinking outside of the box, providing new ideas is greatly appreciated

    Cons

    - Based on the project work/life balance can be non existent
    - Given the size of the company, not everyone's experience is the same.
    - Performance rating system pits you against your co-workers. Can be very competitive.
    - First couple months can be rough. After orientation you are pretty much left on your own to figure out what comes next which can be daunting, but once you get a hang of the ropes, everything is pretty easy to navigate

    Advice to Management

Continue to support all employees on their personal career growth
