    Pros

    Wide variety of work.

Very good company for New Joiners from college in terms of Training and Promotion opportunities.

Accenture company name carries weight on your resume to looking Outside Opportunities.

    Cons

Highly stressful projects and high demanding.

Weakest first level/Second Level Management (basically a college grad joining in consulting becomes Manager within 5/6 years, not having enough professional and soft skills).

Different workforces deliver the same job in any project. But High Salary, more vacation days, fast promotions, perks like cell phones etc are given to Consulting work force only. That brings down the morale of other workforces when they do the same consulting job which includes Travel.

Advice to new joiners, join the company only if offered a job in Consulting Workforce. Please note that Travel/no travel is a myth. There are many consultants who are working local and many other workforce people travel all the time.

    Advice to Management

Treat the experienced Hires with respect and reward them well. Remember they are bringing lot of industry , Technical and Professional experience. Or else, company will be left with only people with lesser experience.

Please educate your "young" managers, that getting a "Manager Title" not necessarily make them wiser than all others. They should learn to listen to the team members for making any project a success. It's not a secret that company's success depends on the success of the projects it is delivering.
