I have been working at Access full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

HR staff is very nice.

Cons

The PTO for call center is sucks, their absence system is horrible, just to give you and idea. Before you get sick make sure you advice workforce of it so you do not get penalize for not showing up.

Advice to Management

Better communication with lower positions, don't look at the matrix only, remember that the ones who provided the customer service are the same ones who have been mistreated. Remember that you are not recording 100 % of the incoming calls, so many things can happen!!

    Pros

    - decent salary
    - SOME management very effective, especially in Customer Service
    - great starting vacation package

    Cons

    - flat out awful upper management in some areas, little to no people or leadership skills, uses intimidation and fear, calculated terminations that were clearly planned ahead of time. Definitive proof of not providing reasons for termination, just a generic canned reason given.
    - virtually no emphasis or efforts on career growth, team building, morale

    Advice to Management

    It's a shame that the poor leadership ability of some of upper management had to overshadow the good in this company. Upper management needs a major overhaul in terms of philosophy, outlook, people and leadership skills, and simply fostering a positive work environment.

    19 vacation days to start
    employees are friendly and nice
    employees are willing to help
    good location depending where you live

    Cons

    very high turnover
    highly disorganized
    very chaotic
    lack of professionalism
    lack of respect
    no managerial skills
    no room for advancement
    overworked and underpaid

    improve your managerial skills
    respect your employees
    give positive feedback
    maintain open communication
    Increase employee involvement
