I worked at Accredo Health full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Environment
Good hours
Paid Holidays

Cons

I would say the only downside was being salaried and having to clock in/out, but it wasn't that bad.

    Pros

Good benefits and 401k plan, health and insurance plans were decent, centrally located.

    Cons

Large company, employees not very kind. No real chance for advancement for regular employees no matter how well you performed your duties.

    Advice to Management

Treat people the way you would want to be treated and they will give more to obtaining management goals.

    Pros

Highly regarded company in the specialty pharmacy industry. A true leader. Known for exceptional costumer service. Good job to get experience with drug manufacturers, sales, and networking. If your plan is to eventually work with a drug manufacturer, this is a good way to get one foot in the door.

    Cons

You're basically a glorified home IV infusion nurse with much more responsibility. Everything seems to be an emergency. Highly micromanaged. Most of all, the training process is poorly structured. In fact, there is no standardized training process and no consistency from branch to branch. Don't be fooled. They say the position is 55% patient contact and 45% sales. It's more like 95% patient contact and 5% sales. If interviewing, be sure the existing nurses are already fully trained in the PH therapies.
Recent acquisition was increased stress level due to change and job cuts.

    Advice to Management

Standardized the training process for new hires. This is a highly stressful and demanding position. Your expectations are too high, too early, and unrealistic. If you say you're going to provide 6 months of intense training, do it. Not two months of very basic training and say we need to cut the strings and have you up in running and train the rest of the nurses.
