Disapproves of CEO

Pros

1. The business is good. (A potential highly grow industry).
2. Young and lots of energy.
3. Have lots of motivated employees.

Cons

1. AH hire lots of contractors - which save the benefits cost but cannot get loyalty from contractors.
2. Some managers treat contractor very bad - i.e. overtime without pay, use bad staffing firms (their "preferred" vendors - probably have "preferred" relationship with the management.)
3. Lack of long term plan.
4. Many non-skilled managers in the work place.

Advice to Management

Need train your managers.
Need to get feedbacks form the staffs (even the contractors since some of the groups don't hire any full time).

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Active recruiting is done to find and land bright, motivated people on a weekly basis. Most people are smart, passionate and willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.

    Cons

On-boarding and first few weeks of new hire experience can be better. HR Team is small and tries hard, but because of rapid growth things fall through the cracks such as "what to do on your 1st week", office ettiquete, overview of company culture

    Advice to Management

Keep the minimization of heirachy in tact but do more active listening to current staff for new improvements. Casual fridays would be nice

  2. "Very competent people, but communication styles are constricting."

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Competent, talented co-workers
    Focus on value

    Cons

    Less-than-optimal coordination, communication across teams
Automaton culture in communication and meetings
Certain leaders have constricting communication styles; wavelengths become burdensome to maintain

    Advice to Management

Reach out to a variety of persons across teams. Tolerate variation in communication styles. Aloof and stand-offish will not win, long term.
