Pros

Seeing these “good reviews” I have to shed light on the fact that these are fake reviews. There are endless red flags at Accrue which is why I am looking for a new role. I might be brand new to recruiting and this whole industry but I know that I have never seen so many people that I never would’ve expected to leave, leave in the last few months that I’ve been here and it’s disheartening and I’m learning each day why the best move is getting out of here. A lot of us here were sucked in by the money and false impression of what actually goes on. My coworkers and I have never experienced disrespect and micromanagement that is here. When I say disrespect I mean being cussed out regularly and called stupid. Amy and Patty are constantly trash talking employees that they pretend to care for. Everytime someone quits, Amy and Patty go from pretending to love them to immediately downplaying their skills and creating fake stories and lies to cover up the fact that people leave because of them. The promotions and titles here are not legit they seem to be just titles that are suddenly made up. VPs and Directors everywhere that aren’t actually anything of the sort. I wouldn’t be surprised if they created a VP of the chair just because. I could go on but the point is that they do a great job of sucking you in and painting you a pretty picture, but I promise it isn’t what you think. It is endless stress and worry about being fired everyday if you don’t bow down to the fake leaders here.

Cons

See above but no work life balance, emails all weekend, fear instilled environment.

Pros

Great crash course on recruiting, good pay, solid leaders on the recruiting side (NOT the owners), great teammates, beautiful work environment

Cons

It's like Miranda Priestly - if you can survive here, you'll survive anywhere. Your job will never be safe (it's a revolving door), and the owners' management style is entirely fear based. You'll be yelled at, publicly humiliated, and judged for taking a bathroom break (run, don't walk there if you must go). Your level of stress and anxiety will take a physical and mental toll. Zero diversity with some MAGA vibes. Best case scenario, you're a middle of the pack employee who can keep their head down and evade the drama - get the experience and then get out.
