    I worked at Accuray

    Pros

    Product has the ability to make an impact in patient's lives.

    Cons

    Just about everything else. Poor quality management is widespread. Deteriorating company culture. High turnover. Very low morale in the remaining workforce. Creativity and desire to build a great product for patients is driven out of employees. You would think it should be difficult for a health care company to not be a fulfilling place to work. Sadly, this is a truly impressive feat of destruction!

    Advice to Management

    I suppose it is easy to point the finger at management, however, in this case, maybe taking a hard look at the culture created by current management would be worthwhile. Remove the most toxic managers. Create an environment people want to work in.

    I have been working at Accuray full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Get to work from home and pay is pretty good. Can mostly set you own schedule.

    Cons

    Sometimes have to work late and on some weekends.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to what FSEs have to say.
