I worked at Acosta full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Had special events for the employees to boost moral. Offered overtime. Gave samples to employees. Had good benefits.

Cons

Management was horrible. Pay wasn't high enough. There wasn't a lot of opportunity to move up if someone wanted to.

Advice to Management

Give better pay. Train better. Dont pass the blame down hill, take ownership

I have been working at Acosta part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working in the field with little oversight

    Cons

I spent over 7 years working for the company part time, at the beginning it was fantastic with great management, and great hours. Then good managers were forced out and replaced with lazy and incompetent managers. Terrible mileage, almost no hours and some weeks zero hours. One week I was insulted with a half hour of work which after taxes broke down to about $2.73 for a whole week. I am sure it cost more to run payroll then for what they paid me. They do NOT care about there employees and absolutely show it.

    Advice to Management

Give employees ANY hope of advancement. I have attempted multiple times to advance, and every time I have been shut down. Also mileage is a joke, you make less per mile the more you work? Who created that?

I have been working at Acosta part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits are good. Get to work from home. Flexible schedule. Get to interact with several different people throughout the day.

    Cons

Mostly part time work. There are not many Full time positions. The benefits are less for a part time position, but they are still better than a lot of other companies.
