Activision is a leader int eh industry and is Financially stable

Cons

Acitivision's entire business plan involves miking their franchises for all they are worth until they run them into the ground. Making quality games is not the goal, the goal is how to exploit their games for maximum revenue. they have become the evil empire of the gaming industry

Advice to Management

Create a management feedback loop- right now the feedback is only top down. Come up with ways to further train your employees and enhance their skill sets. Reward your employees financially when the company posts it's biggest profit ever. Encourage new ideas and creative games, not just established franchises

    Pros

    Super Atmosphäre untereinander, viele Events, Goodies und Aufmerksamkeiten. Faire Vergütung, gute Arbeitsplätze, mit dem richtigen unteren Management kann man auch Spaß an den Aufgaben haben. Insgesamt sehr gute Stimmung

    Cons

    Wenig Freiheiten, dafür zunehmend Micromanagement und Bürokratie, KPIs stehen über allem und das kann für Frust sorgen, auch weil diese teilweise manipuliert werden. Typisch Callcenter vermutlich. Vieles ist extrem abhängig vom unteren Management, ein Kollege, der das gleiche macht, aber einen anderen Teamleiter hat, hat womöglich viel bessere/ schlechtere Bewertungen und Chancen und mehr oder weniger Handlungsfreiheit.

    Advice to Management

    Nicht nur auf Messwerte, auch mal auf die Leute schauen und wie sie wirklich arbeiten. Zu meiner Zeit waren Manipulationen an den KPI schon ein offenes Geheimnis zu Lasten der Kunden. Wer wirklich für jeden Kunden das beste gab, ging unter, es sei denn der Teamleiter war motiviert, über den Tabellenrand zu gucken. Und: Kreativität nicht kaputtvertextbausteinen..
