Pros

If you are a college grad, Acxiom is a great place to start your career.
Lots of PTO and flexible work from home.

Cons

You are in charge of your career. If you want a promotion or pay raise, you need to be proactive about it.
The only way to get a raise is to leave the company and come back.
Lots of employees leave for better opportunities or get laid off.
Gets boring.

I worked at Acxiom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The natural born leaders and hard working people. Also the fact that Acxiom gets it and understands and allows people work from home. Thats a huge plus.

    Cons

A lot of layoffs and a lot of good people are let go. Upper management can get very paranoid about their job security.

I have been working at Acxiom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Work load is decent, flexible hours. Ability to work from home

    Cons

No job security, they have layoffs pretty much every year. And they are random too. They will hire executives and pay them in millions, who will then announce that we need to cut costs, resulting in firings all over the board. And promotions are very hard too. Also need newer senior managers. Some of them have been with Axiom for 20 years and are not ready for the new direction the company is taking.

    Advice to Management

Stop laying people off. And try to retain the talented ones
