I have been working at Advance Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Autonomy, schedule flexibility, and quality delivery of care. iPad assessments are great when working.

    Cons

All visits compensated the same regardless of complexity of visit where company receives additional funds for these complex visits. Company does not tell new hires there may be only seasonal work or that contracts aren't renewed keeping providers hanging on hope for months that they will have work. Company over spends on recruiting events. Company does not pay for time or mileage to drive to visit until after 30 miles.

    Advice to Management

Tier the visits to reflect complexity and time. Spend less on meals at recruiting. Pay for total mileage and additional urgent reports/time.

I have been working at Advance Health full-time

    Pros

I like the flexibility of the schedule, the independence, meeting interesting people from diverse backgrounds, and not feeling like i have to take work home with me

    Cons

being a few states away from the main office I do not feel like i have coworkers as most communication is done by email. At times effective communication can be challenging, positive feedback is hard to come by but after being employed with this company for almost a year i have seen some improvements

    Advice to Management

you attract more bees with honey than you do with vinegar, constructive feedback both positive and negative is important and leads to healthier working relationships and productivity
