Great people, World Class Clients

Cons

Work loads are overwhelming. More for less. Arrogance in many levels of management.

Advice to Management

The employees are where you need to focus. The clients can see that they are overwhelmed. It will be too late to change when the Client resigns and goes to your competitor.

    I have been working at Advantage Solutions part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    4-5 years ago it was a great company to work for. Truly flexible hours, part-time benefits, paid vacation and holiday and great mileage.

    Cons

    Company is steadly going down hill. All benefits for part-timers are gone. No more paid vacations or holidays. Territories are too wide to cover all work that is required, mileage reimbursement sucks,no reimbursement for wear and tear of your car. Long term part time employees are expected to train supervisors to do their jobs. Raises- Ha haven't seen one in 7 years but have seen a reduction in pay per hour with the promise that this is only temporary and previous pay would return. Not Yet it's been 3 years. Last communication from upper mgmt company is doing great with high ROI and profits.

    Advice to Management

    Stop disrespecting your employees. You have employees that want to work and do a great job but you are tying their hands with all of this fictional garbage. Do all required work but you only have limited hours/time to do it. Have an open door policy and stop having BLOCKERS preventing info from going up the chain to upper mgmt. Make sure your upper mgmt team is competent.

    Pros

    promote from within
    yearly club supervisor trips
    depending on your DSM you can create a good work life balance as a Club Supervisor at Sams Club

    Cons

    Company runs a bit like a schizophrenic or bipolar person is at the helm....they stop and start initiatives with no rhyme or reason. Club Supervisors are expected to maintain a 99% on date execution but are often understaffed to acihieve this goal. CS's are caught in the middle between an often dont give a care attitude from Sam's Club management and a kiss butt attitude from ASM. ASM needs to negotiate a firm contract with Sam's club and both parties work to fulfill it.
