    Pros

    Didnt have to work in a team,if you like to work solo.
    DIdnt have to answer to a manager all the time unless its your DSM
    Good Pay
    Good Hours
    Had work with some Good DSM and also bad one

    Cons

    No promotions
    No discount for the products your selling

    Advice to Management

    Treat your employees MUCH Better.
    Offer discounts for the Vendor they are representing. DUH

    I worked at Advantage Solutions part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    After the initial training, it was More Of the Same every day. The only variance was a different aisle, different products, different day. Most of the people were great to work with; Some were a burden.

    Cons

    Work started at 04:30 and the longer I was at ASM, the more benefits they pulled from us i.e. mileage payments practically disappeared, the hotel stays were a constant argument even when the distance was more than an hour from home, the supervisor didn't seem to know where we were assigned and would call us to ask sometimes. Other times, there were insinuations of wrong doing when nothing was wrong.

    Assignments to areas that had personnel closer to the job site ended up working in my area while I was covering their area. This was due to schedulers living in Florida doing assignments for California.

    I left while there was no work for months before Christmas but repeated calls/emails stating that I needed to call in. When I asked if the call was about new work projects, the answer was that I needed training to use a timecard feature that I had been yelled at for using before....good riddance.

    Advice to Management

    The ASM news letter is for and about the management. A few lines about new business, then back to management promotions. If I were running this company, I would be asking why they are loosing work to competing companies only to take new accounts for companies that are known to be difficult to satisfy.
    The inconsistent work availability is a disservice to your field employees while things at HQ are just peachy.
