Direct deposit - don't have to go to the bank each week!
2 week job has stretched into 3 months, and still going.

Cons

I don't get any record from them of the hours work and paid received.

I worked at Aerotek full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

free lunches, free happy hours that are often mandatory

    Cons

Aerotek is a sweat shop. There is no work life balance. If you come in at 8am you are late. If you leave at 5pm, you get in trouble............ Long hours for little reward.

This place has the worst Management staff ever (minus their Director). Terrible account managers who do not know how to lead and use their Recruiters for added work while they do nothing or come in late............. Their Customer Support Supervisor/HR in that office is beyond unprofessional.

Tons of favortism within the office.

Great training, but after 2 years you realize- "Why is it that no one in the office is over the age of 30?"

    TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK

I worked at Aerotek full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is a dynamic company that gets Gen Y. They offer excellent training, ample of feedback, fun activities, and the room to grow up the ladder. They do reward a high level of activity and work, so the more you put in, the more $$ you make, and the faster you can climb the ladder.

    Cons

This is a privately held company, so if you want a slice of the HUGE pie, you must be a very high earner, and make them a lot of profit.

The are in the recruiting business, and sometimes, the young recruiters are not very knowledgable in the industry they are recruiting, which reflect poorly on Aerotek in general.

They don't offer work from home options, which for recruiting, should be standard.

Their commission structure is a bit stingy, and they should offer a bigger slice of the commission for high level placements.

    Advice to Management

Hire expert recruiters in certain fields, and have them train the young recruiters. Offer them a decent salary, your base salaries are way to low to capture high talent.
