    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Aetna full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Teleworker-friendly. Nice amenities at HQ. Decent benefits. Corporate integrity. Trying to be on cutting edge of healthcare changes. Welcoming to young, college-educated workers. Friendly to LGBT.

    Cons

All depts. are under-staffed. Cost-cutting and down-sizing is a constant way of life. Not friendly to older workers. Difficult to get promoted unless you work at HQ.

    Advice to Management

Need to pay as much attention to the employees as you do to the customers.

    Positive Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Pay is comparable for the Healthcare industry. If you work on one of their campuses, its a very nice environment to work in.

    Cons

Very biased toward ObamaCare. Upward mobility is difficult if you are a work at home employee.

Management is top heavy, to many chiefs and not enough indians.

Do not become a work at home employee; you will not have a true voice regarding missed project deliverables and reporting.

    Advice to Management

Find an anonymous way to report non-compliance of policies. An employee who follows proper procedures gets an incredible amount of pressure not to report the issue.

Your Program Delivery Management provides their interpretation of policy, for example, artifact placement in One Notes instead of Clear Quest, and advises the employee to not report the breach in policy.

By allowing the use of One Notes during the Requirements and Design Phases, you get multiple copies of the Requirements and Design Artifacts.

Determining which version is the most current is impossible to track. Program Delivery does not support the BA or Associate Project Manager's request to comply with a uniform artifact repository.
