I have been working at Aetna full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good base salaries. Quick and substantial initial raises if performance is good. Good PTO and FMLA/Disability bens. Ability to work at home in many positions. Ability to move up from within the company.

    Cons

For being a health ins company, the health insurance benefits could be much better.

    Advice to Management

Please provide us with better options for health insurance. The HDHP plans offered are hard when you have a large family. I don't mind paying higher premiums if we can get a lower ded plan.

    Pros

you can work at home and have a very flexible schedule. the work can be interesting as this is a field that is in the news a lot now.

    Cons

limited opportunity for growth and development. managers are not interested in developing talent. you have to make sure you are self-motivated and able to teach yourself.

    Advice to Management

more training and career opportunities. make room for new people to come in.
