Pros

The people you work with, are almost always a wonderful group to be around. Depending on your sup, they will try to fight for your job if you're unable to meet certain expectations.

Cons

The communication. The pay. The professionalism. The recognition. The orginization.

Advice to Management

Show some appreciation towards agents that have put forward the proper effort instead of only focusing on those that don't put the effort forward.

    Pros

Work from home flexibility; Latitude in making own decisions with a project; generally very good people on the direct team; Lot of smart people in the lower and mid-levels; interesting projects to work on. At the direct level of interaction, most of the people are smart, considerate, and willing to work together.

    Cons

Management talks about how we're dominating the industry and crushing the competition and how important the employees are to the success of the company - that we all need to go that extra mile, working weekends and nights to complete a project on time. Then they nickel and dime teams when resources and tools are needed to effectively provide the client satisfaction they promise (such as additional licenses for critical development software, newer laptops, more memory - and forget traveling to the client unless you can provide the bean counters with a stellar reason that's acceptable). There is also very poor training provided, other than bare bones basic things. You're pretty much thrown to the wolves to figure it our yourself. And when it comes time to reward that hard work, the result is: No 401K match, no merit increases, the ever looming prospect of a sudden layoff,; increased cost for benefits, and just recently a poorly presented memo via email stating sorry, no bonuses because we didn't hit the ridiculously overstated profit number we set (even though through 3 quarters, it was a banner year - as always). As bad as this is, there are continuous "organizational changes" in the company, meaning more layers of overpaid executives are being added to the already overloaded senior management team. It will be interesting to read the stockholders report to see how much their bonuses will be this year.

    Advice to Management

Can't add to what has already been stated by others. Management needs to get off their regal thrones and start treating their employees the way they claim they do in their propaganda. But as stated by others on this site, they are more interested in getting more for themselves and their buddies.

    Pros

Only reason to work at ACS would be b/c of Xerox. With any luck, some of Xerox's character will rub off on these clowns!

    Cons

Morally challenged ACS executive team running the company into the ground. In the process, some very good and capable rank and file people are being thumped.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and realize that the world has left you behind. To rejoin the rest of us in the civilized world, you have to take inventory of your current surroundings and make some big boy decisions. You just cannot afford to hang on to the old wild west "shoot 'em up first, “ask questions” later thought process. It is simply ludicrous and backward thinking. Whether or not, you have the balls to do this remains to be seen!
