I worked at Affiliated Computer Services full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Decent pay, that`s about it.

Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement. Not flexible with schedules; which is why I finally left. No pay increases[even after working there for years]. Always changing & trying to spruce up the place only when there is a client visit. Otherwise, they could care less about what goes on.

I worked at Affiliated Computer Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits. Unlimited overtime. Almost always a full time position. Some places offer college credits for a local college. You usually have a team of other people going through the same thing as you to back you up. The supervisors are usually pretty good about helping you.

    Cons

Mandatory overtime at least once a month. Very little break time, and short lunches. Goals purposely set to be unreachable. The calls aren't always bad, but the bad ones will cloud over any good ones. Nearly no chances for a promotion. Some management is brought in without any experience on taking calls. ACS is a vendor which means they care less about helping customers and more about the volume of calls they bring in, and everything they do revolves around it.

    Advice to Management

Take a month or two worth of calls before you dictate how a call flow should happen. Listen to the team supervisors. Stand up to the client now and then when they demand unreasonable goals.

I worked at Affiliated Computer Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people you work with are usually amazing and you build a strong sense of team.

    Cons

Everything else, The pay is about the worst in the field. I held several positions in the company. More responsibility but no increase in pay.. In fact many times you will see a decrease with their pay platform

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like they are people and not sheep
