I worked at Affiliated Engineers, Inc full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities and you will continually learn. If you have leadership skills, are motivated, and willing to put in the extra hours you will go far here.

    Cons

You will work nights and weekends. Work/Life balance is poor here.

Management takes on too much work.

Management allows clients and architects to walk all over them. This continually results in unachievable project deadlines which many employees refer to as the 'fire drill'. This, in turn, contributes to a very low morale and significant turnover.

    Advice to Management

Before taking on more projects, confer with each other to make sure the resources are available to complete the project as expected. Don't just agree to do work because it looks good on the company ledger.
