I worked at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union

    Pros

You don't have to pay for health benefits.

    Cons

The pay is extremely inadequate for having a Bachelor's degree. There is no room for growth since there are no "titles" beyond a "member advisor." Everyone throughout the whole organization is a "member advisor" so you will be doing car loans, mortgages, teller work, answering phone calls, loan underwriting, and financial counseling (just to name a few) for low pay (like 15 dollars an hour) and no room for growth. Advice to Management

The credit union does great things for its members. It truly does whats within the best interest of its members, but from a management, organizational, and structural standpoint, management is inept and needs to resign. The turnover rate is extremely high and they have no one else to blame but themselves.

I have been working at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union full-time

    Pros

Good benefits and flexible. Have a kid and get paid six weeks off as a father.

    Cons

Pay is not good and zero training. No advancement to speak of. You most get much of a raise but you will get alot of free shirts or sux weeks paid time off if your going to have a kid. Maybe worth working there for a year just to get the six weeks paid time off.
