Approves of CEO

I worked at Aflac as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

Ability to work independently, schedule your own time, build your own network of clients, etc...

Cons

Transitioning from the w-2 world leaves many people with no direction. Much of the compensation in this environment is driven by individual effort..

Advice to Management

More side-by-side training and personal development needed for individuals who have never been self employed. Transition from the w-2 mentality is difficult, unless driven by desire.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Aflac as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Product is great. The supplemental insurance plans that they sell make a big difference in peoples lives.

    Cons

Throw you to the wolves mentality. Too many agents and the market saturation factor is an impediment. Training is laughable. Absolutely no support.

    Advice to Management

Restructure your company's sales force.. No-1099. Pay your employees social security taxes. Provide your employees with a base salary until they develop a book of business. You have a 17% retention rate with your sales force!!!
