Approves of CEO

I worked at Aflac as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

You make your own hours which is great especially if you have other things going or or sudden events. The managers are great people overall but will secretly trash you if you aren't doing well. All they care about is numbers.

Cons

Managers will leave you on your own after a few weeks, and then pester you when your numbers aren't high enough. If you don't have a good manager, then more likely then not your career will fail quickly. Turnover is very high in this position.

Advice to Management

Be realistic to potential employees when meeting with them. Don't show the high number of making over $150K your first year. Only elite people do this.

I worked at Aflac as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Became an expert in Cold Calling and ability to communicate ideas and thoughts to people you do not know

    Cons

Unpaid. The position had me strictly cold calling individuals looking for jobs to join as an agent.

    Advice to Management

Job description did not match the actual job position.

    Pros

    Great Product
    Helping People
    commission Rate is great

    Cons

    Poor Management
    No Training
    Agent are disposable

    Advice to Management

Don't Look At your agents as contact lists. Where as you contract a new agent burn through there list of friends and relatives and then let them fall off on the waste side It stinks of multilevel marketing and AFLAC is so much better then that
