I have been working at Aidells part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Managers are friendly and flexible with scheduling
Attain good, but basic sales experience
Great product that is easy to sell
Potential for Sales bonuses with outstanding hourly pay

Cons

Occasionally during slower times in the season there are very few hours
Must to stand and keep high energy for long hour work days.

Advice to Management

Make bonus goals more realistic in Costco.
Don't over-hire for dead-times

I have been working at Aidells part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The entire kit and uniform are provided free of charge. The pay is much more than offered in retail or mystery shopping. The customers are fun and thank me for helping them. I get to meet a wide variety of people. If you enjoy people, this is the perfect job for you.

    Cons

I am good at my job and dependable so I work almost every weekend. The kit has a lot of items and is cumbersome to haul around. Some of the meat departments are gross. I have to clean my supplies at and it is a pain to haul everything in the house and then back out to the car.

I worked at Aidells full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Autonomous work environment allowed for flexibility of daily schedule. As long as the work was completed and met with appropriate results, you were good. Product is great and helps sell itself.

    Cons

Work week was Thursday = Monday and Monday = Friday, so we never had true weekends off.

    Advice to Management

Tyson Foods owns Aidells now and they've ruined what was once a great company. Too many MBAs think they know more/better than 10=20 yrs experience.
