I have been working at Air Force Civilian Service full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Predictability in knowing the organization will likely be around for a 3-5 year period minimum helps create a sense of stability.

Cons

Low creative opportunities do not offer employees incentives for solution sets, only incentive is complying with laws and regulations.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

ATM, Cafeteria, coffee shop, van pool.

    Cons

This is one of the worst places I've ever worked! The people in this building are the most miserable, unfriendliness people you'll ever met. Management either doesn't understand or care that people from other agencies need training. They do not train, mentor or coach you here. Additionally, coworkers are more concerned with when you're coming and going, how long you took for lunch, and how many bathroom breaks you take in a day. It is the worst! Stay away!

    Advice to Management

Invest in people and you'll have less turnover. Investment consists of training, coaching and mentoring.
