Fast pace and learn a lot

High speed and therefore high stress

Extremely intelligent coworkers, very young which can be a fun environment. Large chance to quickly move up the ranks (3-4 years to be the head of a smaller desk, 5-6 to be the head of a larger desk). Very good tech stack in terms of speed. Good training program.

Disgustingly terrible data pipelines. Bad communication between the software engineers and traders (seemed to be improving). Some of the desk heads are terrible (not unique to akuna). Lack of clarity as to how long you will stay on desks and overall trajectory can put you in an uncomfortable position where you feel like you aren't sure what value you are adding and supposed to be adding (this is also a pro). Probably the worst thing though is it's 100% in person and the minimum I ever saw pretty much any junior working was 50 hours a week. Average was probably more like 53-57. Pretty brutal during the winter, you really don't see the sun much on the week days.
