Alacrity has a lot of good online training on it's platform. It's very helpful and provides content that really helps to build ones resume and knowledge base.

Field mangement: Field mangagers fail to adequately coach adjuster, especially new adjusters. FM's somehow feel that a new adjuster is supposed to simply know how to do effectively juggle calls to insureds, contractors, desk adjusters, managers and others while perfoming all other duties. They feel that an adjuster is miraculously supposed to find the time and ability to make all calls, drive hundreds of miles a week, do inspections, write and revise estimates and do enough inspections so they don't exceed 7 days without coaching. Without coaching a new adjuster on ways to successfully navigate these things failure is almost inevitable.
Human Resources: After sending letters to human resources voicing concerns they went COMPLETELY unregarded, not a peep. I've never seen a company not follow up to concerns brought up in writing to HR.

Alacrity is a great firm to work for, they give new adjusters a chance to gain experience and offer a lot of management help.
