    Pros

The company takes great care of their employees with great accommodations and a willingness to help with any problem you have. The also value feedback greatly and take it seriously.

    Cons

Sometimes I found myself doing busywork but it was nothing too bad.

I worked at Alarm.com for less than a year

    Pros

Everyone I met was nice and helpful. Interns at my office took on real responsibilities. Great HQ in Tysons with things like tea on tap, free snacks, hang out areas. Senior management came to final intern presentations, showing their investment in the program.

    Cons

Salary was good for engineering interns at least but included no money for housing, so $32 was easily cut down to $22/hr. As a B2B2C company, Alarm.com's customers are security dealers who install systems. This inserts a degree of separation from consumers.
