    Pros

    Some good colleagues to work with.
    Reasonable benefits.
    Variety of sectors and clients to work with.
    Some scope for career progression and moving around the company.

    Cons

    Management are practically invisible and extremely top heavy.
    Deceitful when managing bad news and handling restructure.
    Don't care about employees, just about making money. Retention is not important to them.
    Long hours and never a thank you for going above and beyond in busy periods.
    Little interaction between departments which can inhibit progressing with projects and getting to know clients.
    Internal stakeholders act as a barrier to the end client.
    Mass exodus of good people meaning diminished team morale.

    Advice to Management

    Ask your team how they are feeling now and again, gauge their mood and make some effort to retain good people.

    Pros

    Blue chip client base although tend to favor larger corporate clients.
    More recent diversity in client base.
    Often have large volume hire clients.
    Can travel internationally in some instances.

    Cons

    Very cliquey atmosphere,your face must fit and you must toe the corporate line.
    Work-life balance needs attention.
    Lots of travel and working outside of core hours with no extra compensation.
    Over complicated career structure with debatable annual performance reviews.
    Middle/senior managers out of touch with reality due to glossy presentations from managers.
    Tendency to promote good recruiters versus those that can/do manage.

    Advice to Management

    Recognize internal talent.
    Develop a real life succession planning model instead of promoting those who are well seen/heard and bezzie mates with middle/senior managers.
