Former Employee - Litigation Support Analyst in New York, NY

I worked at Allen & Overy full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Exposure to a variety of eDiscovery platforms. Analysts are given a great deal of responsibility right from day one. Friendly staff and competitive pay/benefits.

    Cons

The work comes in waves, so it is often difficult to anticipate whether your week will be busy, or if you will be completing menial tasks in anticipation of a larger project.

    Advice to Management

Continue to successfully show the support staff the appreciation you always have. Try and keep your technology as up-to-date as possible.

    I worked at Allen & Overy full-time

    Pros

Onsite facilities and amenities are excellent

    Cons

They talk a lot about diversity and have all kinds of initiatives, but it's still a big city firm that only cares about chargeable hours. The smile doesn't reach the eyes.

    Advice to Management

Give employees a safe environment to whistleblow. There's no trust that disclosing something won't be severely career limiting.
