No opinion of CEO

I worked at AlliedBarton full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Work at most job sites is usually easy going, slow paced.
Lots of overtime available at every job site I worked at.
After a year of full time work you get forty hours paid time off.
You receive free uniforms and will continue to get new uniforms by trading your old ones in.
You receive a raise if you complete additional training.

Cons

Lots of overtime available and you're often forced to stay for another shift.
Continuous training of new employees, as there is a very high turnover rate.
The healthcare that is offered is poor and co-pays are high. Even my account manager said go with something else if possible.

I have been working at AlliedBarton full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Free uniforms
    -Ample overtime
    -Endless amount of online training

    Cons

-Unreliable coworkers (feel like being on-call outside of normal hours due to employees calling off)
    -Sub par benefits
-Union dictates pay raises and promotions
-Lack of communication between branch office and work site

    Advice to Management

Upper management boasts about promotions and career goals, yet there isn't any formal training outside of AlliedBarton's EDGE online training modules. Account Manager's need to challenge their Security Officers instead of being dictators and placing blame when a situation is not handled properly. Uniform training needs to be conducted to ensure all Security Officers are on the same page.
