Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Allstate full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Great Environment, lots of nice people, work/life balance is great and they give way more paid time off than any other company I've heard of

Cons

It is really hard to live comfortably on the starting salary.

Advice to Management

increase the base salary and then maybe the turnover rate wouldn't be as bad as it is.

I have been working at Allstate full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Allstate as a company encourages employees to take care of their families and is head and shoulders promoting a diverse workforce.

    Cons

Promoting a diverse workforce and promoting on an agenda are competing ideologies.
Many qualified\competent and experienced candidates for promotion are actively overlooked based upon an agenda of being diverse no matter what the cost. Many culturally\racially diverse individuals who are promoted without being vetted are unprepared and unqualified for the leadership positions they are placed in, this causes friction in a company that is also actively outsourcing much of it's skilled positions oversees. The company's future is unsure and ultimately they are shedding experienced and talented people much faster than they can replace them.
