I worked at Allstate full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was a fantastic work enviroment, with unlimited possiblitites, and they (Allstate) were ery god on training, and eithics, conflict of Interest. Tim Allen, and Julie Parker were agency owners, and I cant say enough good. Fantastic company!

    Cons

80% commissioned, better salary, to make sure income, with trailers.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Allstate full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It depends on your agency owner, but in all, the people are nice and professional.

    Cons

For lower level sales personnel (LSP), the income potential is very limited. Usually a tiny base plus commission. You can only get ahead if you buy an agency, but the opportunities are limited--good old boy network. Most other P&C businesses are the same.

    Advice to Management

Be realistic and recognize that your management model isn't working anymore. Market like Geico and you'll do much better.
