    I worked at Alpine Lumber Co full-time

    Pros

    Employee ownership if you can stick it out long enough to make it worth it. If you want a job that brings very little variety and surprise then its a great fit.

    Cons

    Very stale environment. Absolutely no flexibility, and management had no idea how to build valuable relationships with labor employees. No one at the top is willing to listen to or open to new ways to do things. "It's the way we have always done it" is the number one saying among management.

    I have been working at Alpine Lumber Co full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Excellent benefits (health and retirement), 50 - 55 hours (or more) a week, career advancement available

    Cons

    Low pay (only way to make a living wage is pushing 60 hours a week), every person for themselves culture.
