Not too Bad - Anonymous Employee Amazon Flex Employee Review

Pros
The best thing I like about it is that it is a great work out. I also like it that you can choose when to work and when not to work. I think the pay is OK.
Cons
Wear and tear on the car of course. But I’ve noticed a switch in the way they are posting slots to drive. There used to be a lot of two hour slots which is good for me. Now they’re mainly offering for our slots which I don’t prefer because I don’t have a big enough car to fit all that stuff. I don’t know if they’re dropping the two hour slots or not. I wish I knew.

Pros
Flexible scheduling-work when you want "if" you can get a block (shift). Will be paid on time. You are your own boss so nobody is looking over your shoulder.
Cons
You are responsible for ALL of your expenses (gas, tolls, parking, etc.....). Routing is terrible. Management doesn't give a crap about you, your safety, your health or your suggestions. You will be delivering in the highest crime areas in your region and if decline the route, your ratings will be hit hard. If you return any packages to your station your ratings will be hit hard. Drivers cheat by using BOTS to steal blocks. Drivers steal packages & supplies. Parking lots at some stations are unsafe. Customers are dishonest and drivers are blamed. Company play head games with drivers.
