I worked at Amazon for less than a year

    Pros

I could quit whenever I wanted too.

    Cons

Amazon s process from beginning to end was simply just a massive waste of time. The interview process took nearly 3-6 month just to hear any form of feed back then took another 2 months to schedule the interview. starting salary wasn't that appealing and the benefits they provide are just "okay" for the amount of work you're putting in. The interview process made you feel as though you were competing with... everyone who's in the call with you and the individuals who interview you all seem like they're reading scripts and robotic. Luckily I turned down this job opportunity...

I have been working at Amazon full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Amazon base pay is $15 the hour with a .60 shift differential for working at night. That is for all workers regardless if seasonal or full time associate. However, once you are a full time associate, after 6 months you get an additional .25 and continues after 6 more months and so on until about $18.xx and I believe if you work the weekends you get an additional dollar. So if you work there for 3 years night time... and weekends, you can potentially earn about $19.

    Cons

I dislike working at night but there is a lot more pros than cons.

    Advice to Management

Train many people in other areas than normal because gives a sense of value to workers.

I have been working at Amazon full-time

    Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

    Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.

    Advice to Management

More on-boarding training before new employees are thrown in the fire. The first couple of weeks can be very confusing on where to find the information you need that pertains to your job.
