I can't imagine a better place to work. Data wins arguments, writing is a superpower, and leaders want a narrative more than bullet points.
Cons
You need a very high level of self-discipline to take ownership of your own work/life balance and make it clear to your leadership what you are and are not working on. Not really a "con" since this is not unique to Amazon, but more a disclaimer to folks with a proclivity to try and "do everything."

Cons
You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
