    Pros

I have been given as many challenges and opportunities as I have asked for. The company seems quite lax for a large company, in that there are not a lot of petty rules to watch out for. If you do your well job you get to progress. AMEC helps with certification training, education reimbursement, and some opportunities in advancement. Employees can work in other offices or cities if they choose. Good benefits.

    Cons

Business decisions and changes often take a long time to implement, perhaps because of how large the company is. The company tries to do internal surveys for job satisfaction etc. but openly admits to not caring about the results.

    Advice to Management

Continue to help employees to progress. Offer a more focused and deliberate training and career development program. Go after more jobs (especially in this recession), even if the returns aren't as high as upper management wishes.

    Pros

Very laid back work environment, most of the managers were some of the best in the world and were quite knolageable.

    Cons

There were really no down sides working with company. Some of the mangers were better than others. There were a couple of managers that made life horible for everyone and I wish they would have been fired.

    Advice to Management

Quit pretending you are running your own practice and work as a team so you can be more effecient in getting things done.
