    I have been working at American Academy of PAs full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

    Very flexible work environment. If you know how to advocate for yourself you can succeed here, if not you may find yourself to be a shrinking violet.

    Cons

    High turnover due to a lot of shifting priorities and no clear career paths. Some of the senior leadership can be difficult to work with.

      Pros

      PAs are pleasant, hardworking people who seem to appreciate the efforts of staff. Alexandria location isn't bad.

      Cons

      Senior management is moody, distrustful, and relies entirely too much on the input of hired consultants, including some who have a hand in every decision made by the CEO. Recently, due to prior bad real estate decisions, the office had to be redesigned in order to accomodate the large number of new hires.       Advice to Management

      Trust your team to do the job they were hired to do. Stop micromanaging every little decision. Choose one priority and stick with it.
