I have been working at American Hearing Aid Associates full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Wonderful, hard working people on staff. Committed and honest. Focused on customer service, high quality, and teamwork.

Cons

CEO is a visionary, but disconnected from the organization. President and Sales VP are "lost" but don't know it -- or can't admit it. Either way they need to step aside and let capable managers drive the strategic direction.

Advice to Management

Stop the turnover. 90% of the staff has less than 3 years in service, and most don't last a year.

    Pros

AHAA offered a decent base salary and a reasonable car allowance. It previously had attracted high caliber employees, many from United States Service Academies.

    Cons

Inept new senior management which has gutted the organization. No communication with employees. Lack of understanding of the target market. Constantly changing focus. Lack of direction.

    Advice to Management

New leadership is needed. Learn your target markets. Be realistic. Learn how to communicate down the line. Try treating people with respect.

I have been working at American Hearing Aid Associates full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The people. Our associates.

    Cons

Upper management micro manages employees. No mobility, horrible culture. No one wants to be there. Zero flexibility. different rules for different people.

    Advice to Management

They don't care about what their employees think. It is their antiquated mentality or the highway. Treat everyone the same.
