I have been working at American Marketing Association full-time

    Pros

Most staff are great to work with, and some managers are very supportive of individual employee growth and professional development. So many people have left that it's easy to work your way up in the company quickly to fill vacant leadership positions. Work/life balance: ability to work from home (although this isn't a blanket company policy, it's dictated by each department head), summer hours, volunteer time off,...

    Cons

Over half the staff has turned over in less than two years, the majority of which have left voluntarily. Yet management still keeps restructuring and letting people go. It's no wonder the company culture here is so negative - HR has no time to focus on anything except filling vacant positions.

    Advice to Management

"Your trust is our top concern, so companies can't alter or remove reviews." Interesting how two reviews posted by actual employees in the past month have disappeared then. I have been working at American Marketing Association full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Friendly people with diverse backgrounds. Good opportunity for entry level people to gain basic experience. Casual dress code.

    Cons

Very outdated ways of doing things, inexperienced leadership in many areas who don't communicate well. Pattern of hiring people then letting them go when they realize they didn't know what they needed. No innovation or creativity. Outdated organization in most areas, don't stay too long or you will fall behind.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of listening to members, and giving them what they actually want.
