    Pros

There is room for growth and the industry touches everything, so there is always something new to learn, regardless of department. The overall atmosphere is friendly and cooperative, and many people pull through for their coworkers to make something that is bigger than any of them individually happen.

    Cons

Interaction between departments is not as efficient as it could be.

I have been working at American National Standards Institute full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

ANSI has a flexible work-life environment. They promote from within and really want to see their employees succeed. It's not very competitive and for the most part, people work well together. The sal/ben offerings are wonderful.

    Cons

Unfortunately, management has a hard time making decisions, and big things sit awkward and undone for longer than they should. Also, certain individuals and departments get utterly away with murder, when they should be fired or at least reprimanded for poor performance.

    Advice to Management

Stop wasting money on consultants and clean house in the department that you know needs to be cleaned up.
