I worked at Amobee full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Very skilled people on the Israeli site (development site), great atmosphere.
Benefits are not bad, relative to competitors of that scale.

Cons

Unstable management. VPs constantly leaving\fired.
Not a good sense of job security... management can decide on massive deduction of employees at any given day.

Advice to Management

Get stable

    Approves of CEO

I worked at Amobee full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

At the time I had wished the office was closer to the belmont caltrain station, but in retrospect I appreciate the exercise.

    Cons

Commute/location wasn't the most ideal for a non-parent (at the time it was right next to oracle in belmont/redwood city)

    Advice to Management

Amobee was very well run. I don't have any advice in particular. That said, it wouldn't hurt to have read "The hard thing about hard things" and "Rework"

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Amobee full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good culture, snacks, great entry level job, happy hours, work life is meant to appeal to young lads in their 20s

    Cons

The image of the company on the outside is pristine. They like to tout culture and fun, beers and happy hour. However, the day-to-day operation is far from glamorous. You will be a button pusher, clicking on brainless submit buttons to push display or mobile ads. The theme is to fit as many young employees in as many cubicles as possible. Pretty faces here and there. Great entry level position for kids looking to have some fun. After 1-2 years, they figure it out and move onto a real career.

    - limited growth for employees
    - very young employees-- even senior and executive management is young and lack experience leading
    - instead of paying competitive salary and bonuses, they pay lower and use those savings to fund the culture
    - CEO is on the cheap side. Wont match 401k, won't invest in technology, equipment outdated.
