Pros

Cool innovation, nice co-workers, lots of over time if you want it

Cons

Terribly disorganized management, unrealistic deadlines then they treat the employees like a dog.

Advice to Management

Shame on you for outsourcing everyone’s job who has sweat and bled for you without even a thank you

Start up mentality, Fast paced environment. Tremendous personal, professional and company growth potential. Very talented team in engineering, R&D and manufacturing. Solving unique issues to make solar power practical in large scale.

    Cons

Business processes are still immature but are starting to be applied in an organized way. As department expand trying to keep the small startup feel.

    Pros

Excellent company. Cool technology. Nice and smart people.

    Cons

Too many managers. Grew too fast and did not have succession plan. It was downhill once the CEO passed away (may his soul rest in peace).

    Advice to Management

Start from scratch. Rethink the entire design. Build the product with cost in mind. Don't build a super efficient product and then try to remove cost from it. Dollar/watt or dollar/kwh (depending on who is your customer) is the only thing that matters.
