    I worked at Amteck full-time

    Pros

    30 min lunch and health care was better than medicad

    Cons

    Never got paid on time, and had to get the labor board involved to get a final check. Work was not as advertised Toxic people and low management skills Low Per Diem Very casual about company racism

    Advice to Management

    Communicate more with other offices and other managers in the office, make sure that employees get paid on time.

    Feeling of family, the Senior Management cares about employees and so much flexibility.

    The Vacation Policy is out-dated.

    Pros

    New facility is really nice. The gym and cafeteria services are nice features. Pay is above market for Lexington in my opinion.

    Cons

    Leadership is not on the page and completely disorganized. Half the time they aren't even in the building. In the summer time the CEOs presence is virtually non-existent. No idea what the COO does--hes in Atlanta all the time. They have a new system no one has any idea how to use. That's what happens when three people essentially huddle in a room and decide what they are going to do. Implementation carried out...

    Advice to Management

    Decide who you are going to be... Are you going to break through and be a modern company or are you going to be the mom and pop shop you used to be? You say you want to take the next step forward but your behavior is that of a company not fully ready to take the leap despite what you tell employees. CEO needs to decide if he wants to be fully invested, if not step aside and let someone else lead.
