Pros

Amway is one of those rare companies where you feel like your contribution is really appreciated. I know that I can always count on the company to consider its employees when it makes decisions and I'm very fortunate to be able to work with so many gifted, passionate people.

Cons

The corporate culture is very conservative and religious, which can be off-putting to people that espouse different values.

I have been working at Amway full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Amway really really cares about its employees. They do the right thing. All the time. I take personal pride in our products, our business model, and our talent. That is extremely important for me in a job. The majority of our sales are in Asia and we are still doing a lot of manufacturing in the US. I don't think many companies can make that claim. The growth of our business has been consistently impressive despite all the of the sociopolitical, geographical, and economic challenges the world has faced in the last several years. And we have a board and a leadership team that responds proactively to this growth to prepare for the future.

    Cons

Amway is a traditional American company with a traditional reporting structure and hierarchy. I prefer flatter, more nimble, matrixed organizations. Sometimes it takes a long time to get a decision. Employees are empowered but only to a degree, not completely autonomous.
