Pros
Grew professionally, and expanded my professional network. Your pace of growth is well increased cos you're surrounded by smart, knowledgable colleagues. You get to travel to North America - which is a luxury, if you've spent all your life in Nigeria.
Cons
The charity mentality, and the way it's marketed to clients. Clients believe they're doing (a good deed) the world a favour hiring an Andela fellow, which is demeaning in a sense, to fellows who put in a lot of hardwork. Money's good relative to what local companies in Nigeria pay. However, cos salary's incremental, and each fellow has to start from a low salary level, it feels unfair to some fellows with more experience than their peers.
