Approves of CEO

Pros

Decent pay for the work
No bosses breathing down your neck all day
Chances for overtime for those who want it

Cons

Extremely repetitive
You're basically a glorified DVD stocker
The travel for RMS positions can get old fast

Advice to Management

Provide some sort of incentive for the RMS position. I worked my butt off for 10 months with the company and didn't receive a single bonus or recognition. It would go a long way.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    - Early hours which vary and typically off by afternoon
    - 2 days off usually per week
    - Benefits for full-time employees are decent and improve after one year
    - District Manager is very competent and aware of issues which arise
    - Work by yourself and at a pace which most can handle

    Cons

    - A lot of customers will approach you so you have to help them at Wal-Mart/Best Buy
    - Hours can and sometimes will be cut when projects are priority
    - Sometimes you can't finish project done in given time
    - Unhappy Best Buy employees under stress bring moral down
    - Best Buy or Wal Mart will sometimes use you as one of their "employees"
    - Somewhat lack of communication between Management of Anderson and Best Buy
    - A lot of survery's to do each day, which sometimes are irrelevant/but are necessary for upper management to understand what's going on.
    - Many things to do so you have to balance your week and hours

    Advice to Management

Try to get more in touch with the upper management of Wal-Mart or Best Buy with Anderson's District Managment.

  2. "It's a good place to work if you don't like micromanagement, however, that's the only pro for the most part."

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Have ability to run the store as if it were your own 'business'
Free movies when reaching sales goals

    Cons

    Company recently cut hours drastically
    Poor communication from help-desk
Inconsistent hours from week to week
    Little pay compared to competition

    Advice to Management

Allow adequate time to finish large scale projects. Don't expect all the work to get done when hours are cut.
