    Not really worth it

    1. They do pay you. A direct deposit shows up in your account within a couple of weeks. That's all I can think of.

    Cons

SO MANY! Firstly, one must pay for their own background check. This is not refunded in any way. Usually a company will refund the cost on your first paycheck, Handy does not. You must purchase your own supplies. Fine, that is to be expected most of the time anyway, but they encourage you to purchase these supplies from them! If a client cancels, there is absolutely no reimbursement to the cleaner, but my research shows that the company gets a small cancellation fee. Their ad claims that a cleaner can earn $18 per hour / it's actually $15. That's a great rate, but there are very few jobs available. I have a 5 star rating and there are no jobs available until the end of the week. That's a $45 earning for the entire week. No one can live on that salary. What puzzles me is that if there are "no jobs available" per their own app, why are they still advertising for employees? I saw an ad online to apply with them as recently as yesterday. I reside in a very large city and find it very hard to believe there are no jobs available...it seems more likely that they have too many employees that have paid their background fees, possibly bought supplies through the company, and then sit and wait for maybe one or two jobs a week. I've been with them for nearly a month, I have a 5 star rating, I have never been late, and I have not yet had one job assignment per day. I've come to the conclusion that this company is making the majority of their profits from the background checks and cancellation fees.

If a customer cancels a job 24-2 hours from the booking start time, we do provide some compensation to pros for leaving that time available on their schedules. We continue to work on initiatives to prevent frequent cancellations. There are additional ways for professionals to proactively gain new customers as well! They are able to create and share their professional profiles online so that new customers can book with them directly. Pros

I was 11k away from making 300k my first year. Anyone who says they didn’t make money clearly can’t do the job AND THATS OKAY. Not every one has it in them to get rejected a hundred times a day by a hundred different people but still remain CONFIDENT. When people don’t see success within the first week/month they start to doubt their abilities. Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will. All you need to do this job is EXTREMLY high confidence. The skills will be taught but the sales come from confidence. I’m okay with being rejected 100 times a day by a hundred different people to make the 20-30k a month that I do The trainers are amazing, with hype energy, and are super patient and attentive. They have open meetings like every day for you to share suggestions with the Vice President or to just speak to him. Every quarter they tell u about the quarter that just ended n future plans and have a Q and A Managers have to start as sales reps first so most growth happens from within Freeee healthcare Discounts with soooo many brands because ANGI is owned by IAC who own a lot more than 100 other brands.

    Cons

Managers are human and some can’t lead. It impacts the team negatively when that’s the case. Of course u get fired when ur not hitting goal for 2 MONTHS straight. TBH I think that’s more than fair. A lot of people don’t make it ( either from not reaching goals or quitting because the rejection was too much for thier mental health)
